Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair met personally to promote the upcoming bout.
Ex two-time world boxing king Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually known for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
